【辭書名稱】測繪學辭典
1936年國際物理海洋學協會（InternationalAssociationofPhysicalOceanography）建議，對海面下應加檢測之特定深度層。
規定深度層為0，10，20，30，50，75，100，150，200，250，300，400，500，600，800，1000，1200，1500，2000，2500，3000，4000，5000，6000，7000，8000，10000公尺等二十八層。
針對上列深度之海水性質，應採直接或補插方式加以檢測，並作成報告。
