<P><STRONG><FONT size=4>英國媒體報導，蘇格蘭藝術家David Mach日前用上萬根火柴棒拼出了多個栩栩如生的動物臉，每個塑像售價在2萬至3.5萬英磅之間。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG><FONT size=4>據悉，David Mach是英國80年代最具代表性的雕塑家之一，早期以其戲劇性大型裝置雕塑著名(其實他既不雕也不塑，以現成物裝置成形) 。 </FONT></STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG><FONT size=4> David Mach對日常生活裏的消費物體別有一番鐘情，過去的雕塑作品都以系列圖書、雜誌、輪胎、地毯、塑料布、家電、電視、汽車、陶瓷器的動物、家具及火柴等等建構成形，總是將微不足道的素材建構成非凡想象的藝術品。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P><STRONG><FONT size=4>90年代起繼續在這敏銳感性的火柴、鐵衣架、彩繪名信卡片及相片等素材探討，經常出其不遇的建構他非同凡響的雕像與影像繪畫。</FONT></STRONG></P>
